Ideas For Using These Materials

Use these materials as add-ons to other lessons - warm-ups or cool-downs.

Make sure you cut the handout in two. Students face each other without showing each other their questions.

Use for speaking exam practice.

Students underline collocations and word patterns found in each discussion based on the discussion topic.

Students ask their questions, 'guess' their partner's answer and then ask the partner how accurate the guess was.

Students write down their answers.

Let students assume a different person or character and answer questions as part of a role play.

Cut up and laminate sets of 10 questions and place on a table for students to pick and choose at random.
